## 1. Acceptance

By accessing **www.hdgp-protocol.com** (and `.cn` if offered), `docs/readable/*`, or related static assets, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the site.

There is **no user registration** on this site in v1.0.

## 2. What this site is

- **Informational** content about HDGP (Human Dignity Guardian Protocol / 厚德归朴).
- Pointers to **open-source HDGP-Core** (Meta baseline) and **reference implementation** documentation.
- Optional **technical demos** (rule evaluation), not a medical, legal, or financial advice service.
- **Not** an LLM chat product; we do not provide generative AI answers on this website.

## 3. No professional advice

Content is for **engineering and governance discussion** only. It is not medical, legal, investment, or safety-critical operational advice. You must obtain qualified professionals for decisions with irreversible consequences.

## 4. Demo & API endpoints

- Demos evaluate **sample text** against **deterministic rules** (allow/modify/block/fuse).
- Results may be **wrong** (false positives/negatives). See liability notice.
- You must not submit unlawful content, malware, or others’ personal data.
- We may rate-limit, disable, or change demos without notice.

**Current technical note (v1.0 source)**: the default demo Engine URL is `http://localhost:8080`. Public pages **do not** auto-start an Engine on our servers. Domestic launch may add a **same-origin** API path; that will be announced in release notes and the Privacy Policy.

## 5. Intellectual property

Site design, text, logos, and documentation are owned by the operator or licensors. Open-source components are under their stated licenses (e.g. Apache-2.0 for HDGP-Core). Do not copy or scrape the site for competing products without permission.

## 6. Prohibited use

You must not:

- Attack, probe, or overload our infrastructure.
- Bypass security or access non-public areas.
- Misrepresent affiliation with HDGP or the operator.
- Use the site to violate applicable law.

## 7. Disclaimer of warranties

The site and demos are provided **“as is”** without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

## 8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or demo outputs.

Integration partners and deployers bear **primary responsibility** for production systems that embed HDGP (see reference liability notice).

## 9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify the operator against claims arising from your misuse or unlawful submissions through demos or contact channels.

Links to GitHub, Core site, social networks, etc. are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for third-party content.

## 11. Governing law & disputes

For users in mainland China, these Terms are interpreted under **laws of the People’s Republic of China**, with disputes submitted to courts with jurisdiction at the operator’s domicile, unless mandatory consumer protections require otherwise.

For other regions, contact us to clarify applicable law in writing.

We may update these Terms. Version **1.0** will increment when material changes occur.
